Armchair Club: A Question of Sport, Monday 7th March 2011 - Civic Centre

Feedback from the last three years QoS has been very positive so we are continuing with the same extended format with no comedian. This allows the QoS part of the evening to be extended to around 90 minutes instead of the very fast paced approach of recent years. If you were at last two events you will know that it allowed more time for answers and banter around the table.

It promises to be another great night. Will the team from Nat West Bank retain the trophy they won last March? Or will the Andrew Saunders team recapture the trophy they won in 2005 and 2006? Maybe David Blount Estate Agents will triumph again as they did in 2003? Perhaps the Chad will make a comeback and win again as they did in 2004, 2008 and 2009? Or will your team triumph? There's only one way to find out.

The QoS Dinner on Monday 7th March is always popular and so early booking is encouraged. Tables of 8,10, and 12 can be arranged, as well as individual or multiple tickets at a cost of £30 per person

Confirming your booking couldn't be easier. Simply telephone Elaine at John Sankey’s office on Mansfield 627247 or reply by e-mail to enquiries@armchairclub.org Cheques should follow asap and certainly before the end of February. Tickets will follow upon receipt of your cheque.

You and your guests are asked to arrive at the Civic Centre anytime after 7.15pm in readiness for the meal being served at 7.45pm. Dress as usual will be lounge suits or blazer and tie. Remember that Ladies are now very welcome at all Armchair Club events.
