Apply for a Grant – The Armchair Club

The Armchair Club awards grants to sportspeople, teams and clubs across Mansfield and Ashfield — normally between £250 and £1,000 — towards the costs of coaching, equipment, travel and competition.

Before you start

Applications are made by a proposer on behalf of the applicant — a coach, club officer or official, rather than the sportsperson themselves.
You will need at least one independent referee who is happy to be contacted to endorse the application. They are not expected to know why the support is needed.
It helps to have a rough idea of the applicant’s expenditure over the next twelve months, and how much you are asking us for.
The form takes about ten minutes. We will email you a PDF copy for your records.

If you have supporting material — a breakdown of expenditure, a club prospectus, press coverage — simply reply to the confirmation email with it attached. You can also see every grant we have awarded.
